Cheryl Jenkins Lewis earned her degrees in Elementary Education, with an interest in the area of art, at California University of Pennsylvania. A retired teacher, she taught in the Belle Vernon Area School District where for the first eight years of her career she taught art at Marion Elementary. She is trained and has taught in “Open Classroom Concept” and taught self-contained classrooms for grades five and six. She taught in the Gifted Support program for 15 years (grades K-6) and received specialized training at Carnegie Mellon University. Cheryl’s interests include interior design and the arts. She serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Jozart Center for the Arts.
